Andy tells Yuan that Chen is firing him if Yuan does not enroll in graduate school, putting more pressure on Jade.Zeny hears of her dilemma and she invests her retirement money in her daughter. However, Jade is not able to enroll even if her mother is able to pay the fee, for a requirement in school is work experience which she doesn’t have yet. The dean though gives her a chance and says she must pass an important exam to be considered good enough for the school. She passes with flying colors and shares the news to her best friend. Onyx gives Jade good news too for he is back in college to finish his degree. He admits he’s doing this to make Jade proud and meet the standards she is looking for in a future boyfriend.
