Jade goes to the bakery next door and asks the Chinese owner Akong about the significance of male children in the Chinese culture.After his explanation, Jade goes home and dresses up like a boy, surprising both Zeny and Amor. Zeny tells Jade there is nothing they can do to change who she is for her father to accept her. Chen on the other hand, keeps on longing for Yuan, and this irritates his new wife Jean to no end. Jean goes to Zeny’s neighborhood and mistakes Jade for Yuan as she is wearing boy’s clothes. Jean tries to kidnap Jade but Zeny’s neighbors catches her and reports her to the police. Chen later bails out his wife and Zeny warns them to stay away. Zeny makes up to Jade by attending her school sportfest for fathers. She wins a special trophy for their team as she takes on the role of both father and mother to Jade.
