Chen agrees to have her mother and lola freed from prison.Jade shares her secret with Onyx and he had no other choice but to aid her with her charade. Chen continues to ignore his wife Jean and daughter Amethyst. Jean shares this problem to her friend Ningning, who is also the wife of Chen’s business partner Edison. After hearing of Chen’s plan to put Yuan in the company, Edison says his son’s are the ones who deserve to take over the business. Meanwhile, Jade tells Zeny her father just agreed to set them free without any conditions. However, Jade was again forced to pretend to be Yuan when Chen asks him to go to his office. She later finds out her father wants to make sure he is his son and he will undergo DNA testing.
